ANNOUNCES ITS ANNUAL

SUMMER’S DAY POKER RIDE

SUNDAY AUGUST 3rd, 2014

GODDARD PARK, WARWICK, RI

Try your luck at collecting a winning poker hand while enjoying a mid-season ride on the well-maintained equestrian trails at Goddard Park in Warwick, RI.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Seven jugs with sealed envelopes will be distributed along the main trails. Bring one UNOPENED envelope from each jug to the registration table at the end of your ride. The judges will open the envelopes and assist you in determining the best and worst poker hand you can make from the seven cards. In the envelope with one of your cards, you may also be lucky enough to find a specially “marked” slip for a Rhode Island Lottery ticket. The cash prizes will be a percentage of the poker ante fees collected from participating riders.

ENTRY FEE SCHEDULE:

NEHT and WGHA Mileage Available in up to three, 6 mile loops.

Proof of a negative coggin's test and a rabies certificate is required to participate in the poker competition - we will be checking for these at registration.
