Room 128 – Conference Room

  • Portable projector and projection screen
  • Has many chairs for group instruction, debriefing, or as a waiting area

Rooms 129, 131, 133 – Breakout Rooms

  • Tables and chairs
  • Seats up to 8 people
  • Network connection (use CAT 6 cable) under table
  • Wireless is also available

Room 130 – Shopper Insights Lab

  • Cameras
  • Adjusted through Crestron touch panel in Control Room
  • Can Zoom
  • Various uses including setting up grocery aisles
  • There is a storage closet to the left
  • Shelves are allocated by lab administrator
  • Has a two way mirror connecting to the Control Room
  • Intercom

Room 134 - Office

  • Lab’s managing director’s office

Room 135, 137, 139, 141 – Focus Group Rooms

  • One way glass/ two way mirror in between the rooms.
  • One controllable camera that could be controlled through the control room
  • One stationary camera
  • LCD monitor has ability to display signals from Control room
  • Seats up to 8 people
  • Network connection under table
  • Wireless is available

Room 140 – Small Computer Lab

  • 8 laptops
  • Flexible dividers for privacy control
  • Network connection under table
  • Wireless is available
  • Intercom

Room 138 – Large Computer Lab

  • There are 40 laptop computers: can be checked out for use in the BBRL or used in the large computer lab
  • Stations are separated by plastic dividers. Dividers are removable to customize study, but wooden framework must stay attached at all times.
  • The projectorsare controlled from the Control Room
  • Researchers can connect their own laptop to the projectors.
  • The room has wireless access available.
  • How to unlock a laptop
  • Cables are labeled with an orange tag
  • Laptops are locked by security cable
  • Contact lab administrator for moving the laptops
  • This room has an intercom
  • When light is on, room can hear you
  • Flip up and hold to talk for a brief period
  • Flip up to talk, and flip down to turn off
  • Each switch represents a room in the lab
  • Refer to intercom manual for further instructions

Control Room

  • Uses Crestron- touch screen
  • Use if you want to send video, etc. to LCD and Projector in another room
  • Use to turn on projectors/LCDs
  • Controls volume
  • Records video in the focus group rooms
  • Each department has assigned filing space/ drawers. Coordinate your space through your department representative.
  • Safe contains 3 lock boxes. Contact Lab Administrator for combination.
