The Route

We will assemble at the Teaneck Borough Hall and proceed down Teaneck Road into Bergenfield and continue down Washington Avenue to the Bergenfield Borough Hall.

The Walk Route is approximately 4 miles. Transportation back to Teaneck will be available.

Check In Time & Location

12:00 noon-12:45 pm. Teaneck Borough Hall, corner of Cedar Lane and Teaneck Rd.

Prizes and Awards

All walkers will receive a T-Shirt. Special prizes will be presented at the conclusion of the Walk to students and to adults who have collected the highest total donations and an award will be presented to the student group having the largest number of walkers.

BE A PART OF THE R.A.V.E. WALK!

For more than thirty years, both Shelter OurSisters and the YWCA ofBergen County Rape CrisisCenter have been helping people deal with the trauma of domestic and sexual violence. These organizations provide the practical, emotional, and psychological support needed for survivors to begin the healing process and carry on with their lives. SOS and the YWCA of Bergen County Rape Crisis Center are working to stop these terrible forms of violence that affect us all. Help us help them make a difference.

REGISTRATION

There is no registration fee for the R.A.V.E. Walk. However,a minimum of $20 in donations is required to participate, $15 for students 18 years of age and under. Collect donations from friends, family and co-workers. We have included a sponsor sheet in this brochure to help you get started.

Our walk is only 4 miles. Check-in is noon to 12:45 p.m. The Walk begins at 1:00 p.m.
