:: Why are we doing this?

Moonee Valley would like to celebrate the richcreativity of local designers and provide the community with an opportunity to celebrate the work of local designers under the one roof!

:: How is this different to other markets?

We have carefully curated designers who are passionate about what they do and are open to offering their expertise to individuals who would like to learn a new craft.

:: What’s in it for the Vendor?

Designers have been selected for their unique and contemporary design expertise. In addition, all vendors will have the opportunity to lead creative workshops following on from market day.

Vendors will showcase and retail their products on the day with the view to invite curious crafters the opportunity to return to the Flemington Community Centre for an afternoon or evening of learning a new and exciting craft led by you, our market vendor.

On the day, marketing tools for the future workshops will be provided by Moonee Valley City Councilincluding the dates of workshops and supplies available.

Instructors will be paid on a fee basis negotiated with Moonee Valley City Council.

A minimum of 6 students per workshop will be required.

Candle making

Soap making

Polymer jewellery making

Weaving

Macrame

Jewellery making

Cookery classes

Pottery

Sewing

Included in the participation fee, Moonee Valley City Council will lead an extensive marketing campaign.
