9.50 – 10.00 / LCPC Introduction – Documentary Film
10.00 – 11.30 / Water & Business – There is growing concern about water management in industry, not only in environmental discussions but also in financial arenas. What would happen throughout the supply chain if water-prices were to increase sensibly in the next years? green2bee offers an overview of international water management tools and helps to understand the extent of direct and indirect water use (in operations, buildings and throughout the supply chain). Challenges and opportunities are identified. The Global Water footprint Standard (released in 2011) is specifically addressed.
Gregory Eve and Jonas Sonnenschein, green2bee’s environmental managers, Sustainability World Tour
11.30 – 11.45 / Coffee Break
11.45 – 12.45 / “Knowledge Sharing" discussion. Companies talk about their experiences on environmental management issues and practices. The environmental managers act as moderators guiding the discussion in order to cover relevant themes (prioritization of environmental hotspots, environmental management routines, stakeholder relations, reporting...). The purpose is to create a context of mutual learning.
12.45 / End of the session, followed by press conference with local media.
Open / Reception and free consultations for the companies
During the session site visits can be arranged for the following days.
May 12 to May 15
green2bee is happy to visit companies that would like to receive further inputs and inspiration for their environmental work and environmental communication. green2bee is also interested in collecting "sustainability stories", documenting the environmental work of companies from different countries and using them as examples during the next stops of the Sustainability World Tour. A good occasion to give media visibility to environmental efforts.
