THE ANDREA SCHAAP ADULT SCHOLARSHIP
The Andrea Schaap Memorial Adult Scholarship is to encourage Adult riding lessons/clinicstogainexperience inpreferreddisciplinesandICHOwouldliketoreward theadultriderfor pursuingeducationlessons/clinics in any disciplinewithascholarshipof$250awarded to thechosen winner. Thisawardwill begivenindividuallytochosenapplicantsyearly.
Those interested need to apply by writing a small essay on how receiving this scholarship would help themselves, their horse, the breed as a whole and what they have done thus far to improve themselves and their horse in their chosen discipline. AdultRider must provide documentation of participating in eitherlessons or clinics through signature/s of clinician/instructor and address of where lesson or clinic was held, dates and printed name of clinician/instructor.
EligibilityRequirementsforthisaward
Applicantmust:
Beat least 22years of age or older.
Meetapplicationdeadline:mustbereceivedintheICHOofficeby
Oct.15fortheyearend award.
Beacurrent memberin good standing ofICHO.
Haveyour lessons/cliniconaregisteredICHO/NACHRhorse.
Haveparticipatedinaminimumof4lessons or clinicsyearly.
Writeanessayof150wordsormoredescribingyourawarenessof
theCurlyHorseasyourpartnerandwhatyouhavegainedfrom
thisexperience of taking lessons/clinics.
Giveashortsummaryofhowandwhythisscholarshipwouldbe
