Is offering

EPA approved training of Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting

The Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) training is an 8-hour course developed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Training is provided for Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting for the following people:

Contractors and their workers, Painters, Remodelers, Property Owners

EPA’s Renovation, Repair and Painting Final Rule (40 CFR 745) requires that as of April 22, 2010, renovations conducted for compensation must be performed by Certified Firms using Certified Renovators. Renovators wishing to work in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities must successfully complete an EPA-accredited renovator course to learn how to perform lead-safe work practices safely and effectively. This course will teach you how to protect yourself, workers, and customersagainst inadvertent lead poisoning problems that can cause health, regulatory and legal issues for all involved.
