Approval of Board Minutes
Mary Kaley moved and Lori Loudin-Smith seconded the motion to approve the April 16,
2016 special board meeting minutes and Coffee with the Board, and the April 25, 2016 board
minutes from the regular board meeting. The minutes are available for inspection in the office
of the Treasurer.

Request to Address the Board: Community members Chris Boring and Wendy Withey requested the use of the high school auditoria on behalf of PTO, Athletic Boosters, Music Boosters and the Southeast Portage County Lions Club. They would like to hold bingo each Sunday to raise funds for their organizations. It was determined that the Facilities Committee would meet with Mr. Boring and Ms. Withey on Friday June 3, 2016 at 3:00 to discuss the request further.
Presentations: High School Teacher, Jennifer Baker, updated the Board on her participation with the Kent State University National Writing Project which incorporates English Language Arts (ELA) into all content areas. Mr. Craver, Mrs. Sampson, Mrs. Beitzel, Mrs. Oostdyk, Mrs. McCann and Mrs. McCabe assisted Mrs. Baker in their respective content area.
Drama Club Advisors, Mrs. Sampson and Ms. Savinda, and several drama club students presented a power point highlighting several workshops they attended through the Playhouse Square.

adopt the District’s revised Five Year Forecast and Assumptions from FY2016 to FY2020.
Ohio law requires that a district adopt a five year forecast by October 31st and submit a revised forecast by May 31st.
