The 15th Technical Meeting of NEAL-NET was held during July 6-8, 2015 in Shanghai, China. Delegates from Department of International Cooperation Ministry of Transport, Research Institute Of Highway Ministry of Transport , China Waterborne Transport Research Institute of MOT(WTI), LOGINK, Guangxi Provincial Department of Transport, NEAL-NET Secretariat, technical experts of Japan and Korea , totally about 15 person attended the meeting.

NEAL-NET is launched by China, Japan and South Korea to enhance the efficiency of regional logistics and promote trilateral trade. As an important component of NEAL-NET cooperation mechanism, the technical meeting is an effective vehicle to smooth logistics information sharing effectively. The 15th technical meeting was held on the basis of previous meetings, focusing on in-depth discussion of solving technical problems and promoting the application.

China, Japan and South Korea studied the NEAL-NET state information sharing, joint testing, Administrator Guideline, new standards definition specifically, exchanged ideas about the current situation where NEAL-NET conduct exchanges and cooperation with international organizations like the European Union and Asian Development Bank, and discussed the future direction of NEAL-NET and the need to advance potential research topics. Through this meeting, the three countries build consensus on expanding service port, enhancing the user push service, and promoting the logistics information sharing. Eventually, CJK signed the meeting minutes, taking a step toward promoting the regional logistics information sharing and cooperation.

Asian Development Bank NEAL-NET technical assistance project expert came to Hangzhou to work on site

Asia Development Bank (ADB) technical assistance project, Northeast Asia Logistics Information service network development planning and organization mechanism, keeps carrying forward. ADB technical assistance project experts Kerri Ahn and Yulius came to Hangzhou separately to work on-site, to promote the implementation of the project.

Yulius, a Singaporean IT system architect. During July 19th to 24th, he carried out in-depth exchanges with the Basic Network Group, got the understanding about design requirements of LOGINK exchange system architecture and the integrated monitoring system of basic exchange network. He also discussed with the Basic Network Group about the framework of integrated monitoring system, and established a working connection mechanism initially and working plan afterwards.

Kerri, a Korean logistics standard expert. From August 16th to 22nd, she worked together with the Standard Group, conducted training on the UBL2.1 standards, which includes transport model in UBL2.1 standard, international freight management, multimodal transport management and how to establish the standard model by BP modeling. Also, she carried out matching work between the UBL2.1 standards and the LOGINK standards, and proposed on the future expansion for NEAL-NET standards and LOGINK, which helps promoting the mapping between LOGINK standards and international logistics standards.

The 16th Technical Meeting of NEAL-NET was held in Korea

From September 10 to 11, 2015, NEAL-NET 16th technical meeting was held in Jeju, South Korea. NEAL-NET Secretariat, government officials and experts from Japan, South Korea attended the meeting.

Under the joint efforts of China, Japan and South Korea, NEAL-NET has achieved remarkable results in dynamic container vessel status and container status standards, promotion of interface transformation according to NEAL-NET standards at major ports opened in CJK and joint testing. The meeting was held on the basis of previous meetings, mainly studied issues such as the data query of ports opened in earlier stage and network applications.

At the meeting, China, Japan and South Korea conducted a thorough discussion about NEAL-NET joint testing, NEAL-NET push delivery service, dangerous goods information sharing, revised the Administrator Guideline, reached a consensus in the port statistical information sharing, service port expansion, the new standard definition, and signed the meeting minutes . Through this meeting, China, Japan and South Korea gained new progress in expanding new ports, enriching the service content, advancing the data sharing and improving the data quality, and also made new efforts for deepening regional logistics information sharing cooperation between CJK.
