The Scholarship Application Deadline has been extended to March 25, 2018.

The Shuttlebirds Tatting Guild is offering scholarships for our annual tatting workshop held each spring.

Instructions:

Fill in name and contact information completely.

Check which fees you would like considered for scholarship.

Answer all questions on the form and in your essay. Sign your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

All applications must be postmarked or sent via e-mail on or before March 1st. Late applications will not be considered.

All tatters attending the workshop are eligible with the exception of STG members serving on the Scholarship Committee. Non-tatters will not be considered for scholarship. Only one tatter per application.In applying for a scholarship, I understand that commemorative items (for example: t-shirts, tote bags, shuttles, etc.) are not included (for myself or my significant other). Purchase of these items is optional and will be the registrant's responsibility. Travel expenses are not covered by scholarship awards.

The Scholarship Committee shall consist of at least 2 members of the STG appointed by the STG President.

The application period will be from December 15 to March 1st.

The applicants will be notified no later than March 10of the Scholarship committee’s decision.

Thedecisions of the Scholarship Committee will be final. Applicants not receiving a scholarship may apply again the following year.

All information on your application will be kept in strict confidence by the STG Scholarship Committee, except as necessary for the Treasurer to pay fees.

All Scholarship Funds held by STG are available each year. If not used in a given year, they will be maintained in the Scholarship Fund for future use.

The scholarship can be used ONLY for the year of issue. If a scholarship recipient finds they are unable to attend the workshop, the Shuttlebirds Tatting Guild must be notified no later than two (2) weeks prior to the workshop.
