The Revised Route Is As Follows

Dear Parent/Carer

We have been notified that there will be a new road closure affecting this service from next Monday March 9th. Tempest Road and Junction Road West will be closed for re-surfacing for a period expected to last 3 weeks. This will affect both services, morning and afternoon.

The revised route is as follows:

Normal route to Bolton Road, right into Manchester Road, Chequerbent Roundabout, Wigan Road, Beaumont Road resume normal route.

RETURNS via reverse of above route.

Pupils living in the area affected by the diversion will need to get to the nearest point on the revised route, at the appropriate time.

I would also like to confirm the changes to the journey times that came into effect on March 2nd:

These times will remain in force until further notice, not just for the period of the roadworks.

Clearly the timings for Lostock Junction and beyond are unlikely to be accurate due to this new diversion, although the services should be at the junction of Beaumont Road and Junction Road West at about the times stated for Lostock Junction.
