THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE POST INCLUDE:
• To undertake cleaning tasks throughout the hospital/university to the required standards, using the correct cleaning equipment and methods. This includes mopping, vacuuming, high and low dusting, use of scrub machine, emptying bins, etc.
• Cleaning responsibilities throughout the hospital including theatres/wards/sanitary areas/departments/public areas.
• Move light equipment where necessary e.g. lockers and chairs etc
• Ensure equipment is stored and maintained in a clean and tidy condition. Report any repairs of equipment to the Helpdesk.
• Adhere to the Health and Safety guideline e.g. Clinical Waste, Control of Infection
• Where required carry a radio to support reactive requests which may require the re-hanging of curtains.

Package Description
