BACKGROUNDThe Nordic Centre organizes research and educational activities of mutual interest to Nordic and Chinese scholars and students. In addition, the Nordic Centre is also actively cooperating with locally based Nordic companies as well as national representations in the Shanghai region.
The Nordic Centre Council includes representatives from all member universities and is the Centre’s governing body. The Council evaluates and selects the activities to be organized as well as allocate funds to future activities. The Council meets twice every year in spring and autumn.
NORDIC AND CHINESE PARTNERS
Activities to be organized at the Nordic Centre should include at least one Chinese partner and preferably also one or several Nordic Partners. This is to ensure broad dissemination among Nordic region member universities and solid anchorage in the Shanghai region. In some cases, though, activities involving only one Nordic and Chinese partner are also arranged.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
The deadlines for sending proposal for new activities are: 1 April and 1 October. The applicant will be notified immediately after the first coming Council meeting.
Please fill out the form in English and send it to Nordic Centre Programme Manager Martin Bech, .
