With reference to the above, I wish to inform you, that the 1st Round of Counseling for allotment of seats under Government Quota for admission to B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, Pharm D and B.P.T courses for the academic year 2012-13 was held on 10/10/2012 & 11/10/2012, the seats have been allotted to the candidates who have appeared for the counseling on the above dates.

Now, it has been brought to the notice of the University by the candidates who have taken the seats on 10/10/2012 & 11/10/2012 that the authorities of some of the colleges are demanding excess fee other than the fee fixed by the Government when they approached the Authorities of the Colleges for admission as per the allotment letter issued by the RGUHS.

In this regard, it may be brought to your notice that the Government of Karnataka in its order No. HFW 207 RGU 2012, Dated : 31/08/2012 for (B.Sc Nursing, B.P.T. & B.P.O.), and Government Order No. HFW 189 PTD 2012, Dated : 03/09/2012 for (B.Pharm) has fixed the fee as detailed below for Government seats in Private Colleges.

As per the proceedings of the meeting of the Medical Education Secretariat held on 05/09/2009 regarding issue of seat matrix and fixation of fees to Pharm-D course, a decision has been taken that the fee prescribed for the B.Pharm course is also made applicable for Pharm-D course i.e. Rs. 8,250/-.

Under the circumstances explained above, the Principals of the all the Pharmacy, Nursing and Physiotherapy colleges affiliated to RGUHS are hereby informed not to demand any excess fee from the candidates allotted under Government quota other than the fee fixed by the Government at the time of the admission. Any violation in this regard will be viewed seriously and disciplinary action will be initiated. Further, you are also informed that no Government seats that fall vacant shall be filled without prior permission of the Government.
