The Diocesan Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Committee has chosen 'biodiversity' as the theme for Earth Week. A meeting to explain how we can create diverse flower-rich habitats in our communities and help save our bees will be hosted by Kerry Co. v Maybe you have been Thinking about the Priesthood as a way of life for you? Maybe you have felt you are being called? You are invited to St. Patrick’s College, Thurles, on Feb 5th and 6th,2016. This event is an opportunity for you to ‘come and see’. We start on Feb. 5th with dinner at 6.30pm, followed by some time for prayer, meet others thinking of the priesthood and some recently ordained priests. Stay overnight. On Feb 6th there is prayer, breakfast, a brief talk on discerning a vocation, preparation for Mass, lunch, discussion, depart. v Dromtariffe Juvenile Club are holding the 2016 Registration night for playerson Feb 8th @ 7.45 to 8.45 pmin the club rooms.
The 2016 JuvenileGAACul Camp date is set for July 11th in Dromtariffe club pitches.
v We are seeking donations of good quality books for children between 5 - 13 years. We are running a book drive in the school from Monday 25th January to Friday 29th January and would appreciate donations of good quality children's books.
Of particular interest are childrens favourites such as Enid Blyton - Famous Five, Malory Towers, Roald Dahl - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, etc. And new popular authors such as Jacqueline Wilson, David Walliams, Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), early reader books etc. Thank you again for your continued support.

A Show not to be missed
v Cork Homeless Distributers were extremely grateful for every item of clothing that was donated from the parish. Warm clothes, rainwear, footwear, every single item were used. Blessings to all.
