Prayers and Praises

Please continue to keep Kenny Scull in your prayers as he remains at home under hospice care. They are up to receiving visitors but please give Darlene a call before you stop in. See the pastor for Darlene's cell phone number. If you would like to sign up to bring a meal to Kenny and Darlene Scull you can do so by going to this link: www.TakeThemAMeal.com/EDUT1787

Please keep Dawn Allbee in your prayers as she recovers from foot surgery she had this past week. Home Missions is coordinating meals for the Allbees. If you would like to sign up to bring a meal you can do so by going to this link: www.TakeThemAMeal.com/XZON8486.

Please pray for Caleb Martin. He is the 6 year old of Nathan and Brianna, our missionaries in Cambodia. He was bitten by a cat and is being treated for rabies as a precaution.

We are so grateful for all the baby gifts that were given and want everyone to know how much we appreciate it and are so blessed to be part of such a wonderful church. Brandon and Melissa Ver Meer

What's Happening

Welcome Guests! We are so glad to have you worshipping here at Lynnville Friends. Join us for coffee and fellowship in the basement following the service. There is Sunday school for kids and adults following coffee. Please fill out a welcome card located in the pew or under the chairs and drop it in the offering plate. Children’s bulletins are located at the back of the sanctuary for kids to pick up.

Feel free to pick up a missions offering envelope from the back table and place in the offering plate at any time.

Offering for 12-31-17...... $5142.00

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10

We look forward to having Jack & Amber Mututwa, our missionaries in Zambia, Africa share with us this morning. They have been in the states for several months and were blessed with a baby girl, Abigail Liselea on December 8. Both mom and Abby have been doing great!

We also want to lift up Amber and her family in prayer as Amber's mom who resides in Kansas City had surgery to remove a brain tumor and will be starting radiation.

All Sunday School classes including the adult class in the sanctuary will resume TODAY.

The Texico Mission trip is scheduled February 24 - March 4. Work will include finishing at Hernesto and Hortencia home as well as worship at their church. Also, helping at the church where we built a shed in 2016. Questions? Talk with Verlan Vos. Confirmation needed by late January.

The ladies are quilting on Thursdays so feel free to join them on these dates: January 11 & 25 and February 8. If you have any questions contact Faye Vos.

The sign up sheet for fellowship time will be downstairs in the fellowship hall today if you would like to sign up to bring some treats for January and February.

I am in the process of making a new greeters schedule for 2018. I will be going down the church directory list and putting it together in alphabetical order. If you are not currently in the directory but would like to be included or if you would like your name left off then please let me know. Thanks! Stacey
