Luria lived and worked during the World War II.In 250 kmfromYekaterinburgthere is a sanatorium (health resort) Kisegach, transformed into a neurosurgical hospital in 1941.A.R. Luria has developed there with his colleagues the world known methods of neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of soldiers after traumatic brain injury. Onthewallofthefirstbuildingofthesanatoriumthere is a memorial plaque, devoted to Luria.

Thissanatoriumwasselectedforrehabilitationhospitaland continue to be a sanatorium now, duetoitslocationbetweentwobeautifullakes, abignumberofsunnydays, forests and mineral springs, very good atmosphere and water.
The sanatorium has a museum with photos of Luria and his colleagues from the period of the World War II.
The section “Rehabilitation Hospital in Kisegach” will take place in the conference hall of the sanatorium. Breakfastandlunchservedinthediningroomof the sanatorium will permit the participants to feel the time of 1940th
The first building of the sanatorium preserves also an operation hall and rehabilitation rooms from that period.

Itisalsoaplaceofworldknownfall of meteorite on February 13, 2015.There is one of the biggest geological museums of Russia, exposing among other artefacts the Chebarkul meteorite, the certificated small pieces of which are on sell in the museum shop.
