The Parent-Child Home ProgramModel Curriculum

The model curriculum is a sample list of the books, toys, and activities most commonly used in the Program. You may change or substitute the items as you see fit, particularly to match the language and cultural needs of the community being served, as long as the substitute items meet the Parent-Child Home Program’s criteria for books and toys. Excellent new options are published or manufactured every year, and we encourage you to explore them. This list includes many of the “classics” that have traditionally been used, are known to be successful, and meet all PCHP’s guidelines. Guide sheets for all books, toys, and activities listed are available from the PCHPnationalcenter.
