The Packager Suite - Update With Version 9
The ROES client software, version 9, builds on the behaviors and features added in major version 8 to the Packager Suite. We have relocated the remove and linkage icons, modified the placement of the image tools, Icons are now created from a snapshot of the workspace, and added a new behavior for the save button .
Remove and Link Icons
-Remove and Links icons have been moved to the top of the units in the package for easier access and reduced interference with other tools.

Package Icons
-We now create a custom icon that screenshots a portion of the workspace where a package is created. The snapshot is taken each time a package is saved or updated to represent that package.
Version 8Version 9
Lock Image
-There is a newbehavior when using the Lock Image icon. You have the ability to save an image to a package. It will hold that image during order creation and between launches. Unlocking the image lets you drag in a new image.
The Saving Process
-Version 8 behaviors didn’t allow saving of changes made to a package unless the Packager feature was active. Version 9 will allow a save at any time.
Version 8
Save is only available while in Packager mode. Three blinks indicate a successful save.
Version 9
Is available at any time. No indications occur at the time of the save.
Portable Packages
Version 8 and 9 create a package file that may be copied to another computer for use in the ROES Client. After the packages are created in one ROES Client and the Client has been closed (this is when we save your work), a file named mytemplates.xml (Version 8) or mytemplates.xml.enc (Version 9) is created. With the ROES Client closed, you may copy that file and save it to another computers .LabName folder. The packages created will now be available for use in the new computer.
