The Oaks of Edgewood pool is on a key card system. We want to avoid non-residents using the pool, and current residents using it after hours.
Key cards are numbered and will identify you by name, one (1) per home. The cards will be tracked at the point of use; this means that every time your key card is used, the transaction will be recorded and tracked in a printable report. This is info for The Oaks of Edgewood pool committee use only and will not be shared or published.
Key cards will be issued and remain active contingent upon HOA dues being up-to-date yearly as well as no outstanding violations.
Key cards lost will be replaced at a cost of $25 for the first loss; $50 for the second loss. A third loss will be discussed by the pool committee and could result in suspension or loss of pool privileges. Lost key cards need to be reported to the pool committee / HOA so we can turn them off. Call 816-625-9922 to report lost cards. Unsafe conduct, acts of vandalism or any other misuse of the pool or clubhouse will result in suspension of pool use.
The pool is supposed to be a fun and safe place for all residents of The Oaks of Edgewood!
In order to keep the costs of maintenance down, the following are a few very important rules:
- No soap or bath products in the pool
- DO NOT put chairs or tables in the pool
- NO SMOKING at the pool
- Water valves, hoses, and other filling mechanisms should be left alone.
- DO NOT bring glass into the pool area.
- Clean up after yourself, if you brought it in, take it out. Throw all trash away; put chairs and tables back how you found them.
- Please only bring and use items specifically intended for use in a pool (toys, floats, balls)
We have a beautiful pool and would like to keep it that way! PLEASE care for the pool as if it were in your own backyard. The pool company who maintains the chemicals is NOT responsible for cleaning the pool area. This is the responsibility of the residents. Maintenance, chemicals and other repairs are a cost to this HOA, which is YOUR money! We ask for your help keeping the pool safe and fun for everyone!
I have read and agree to abide by any and all rules deemed necessary by The Oaks of Edgewood pool committee/HOA Board. I have reviewed these rules with each member of my household. I further agree that rules will, and can be changed without notice as necessary by The Oaks of Edgewood pool committee and that pool privileges are contingent on having paid homeowner's association dues.
