We will finish the rest of the repotting webinar and we will have repotting stations to repot your orchid so bring one of your orchids in and repot it.
The February Show was a success again this year! Thanks to the members who helped set up and work at the raffle and sales tables, and hospitality was excellent as usual. Thanks to the members that put in such beautiful displays.

The orchid talks on Sat and Sun were well received by the public with many positive comments.
The new educational orchid exhibits in the orchid display area are receiving a lot of attention if you haven’t seen them go take a look at the meeting.

February 22, 2017 Board Meeting

Shade cloth will be hung to shade vendors in GH 10 from heat from the sun
Saturday morning of show signs will be out by the street. Roast beef Friday, pizza Saturday, and subs Sunday. There will be no breakfast items unless brought in by members.
Cynthia, Clevelands Botanical Gardens outreach coordinator is our contact person if we want to ask her husband, Mark, the “Orchid Doctor” for a speaking engagement.
John Kocela brought up important matter of new members to join the group. “Bring a friend to a meeting?”---ideas anyone, please?
Members are encouraged to bring orchids for the sales table if they so choose to.
Looking into tax exempt form for the club.
Discussion needed about fall show. There will be no judges available because of the World Orchid Conference that same weekend in Ecuador. There can be a show but coordination needs to take place to get it off the ground. More at March meeting.
Repotting March meeting, the 7th. There will be stations for repotting different orchids. Bring in one you need repotted. We will also be watching the end of the repotting webinar.
