The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) Is Proud to Announce the Launch of Our

The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) is proud to announce the launch of our newest program! We are searching for five Italian American college students and/or recent college graduates to travel to D.C. for our Congressional Fellowship Program. Each of the selected students will be paired with one of 8 offices of Italian-American Congressmen/women.

During the fall of 2016, these five outstanding young adults will receive a stipend of $1000 to aid with traveling and living expenses in addition to training at the NIAF headquarters and an invitation to NIAF events. The following offices will accept NIAF Congressional Fellows during the fall of 2016:

1.  Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR)

2.  Congressman Lou Barletta (R-PA)

3.  Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT)

4.  Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC)

5.  Congressman John Garamendi (D-CA)

6.  Congressman John Mica (R-FL)

7.  Congressman Jim Renacci (R-OH)

8.  Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH)

To be eligible students must:

-  Be a junior/senior in college or in their first year out of college

-  Have at least one Italian grandparent

-  Provide two references from current/former employers or current/former professors
