WEEK 1 – SUNDAY SERMON

THE MIRACLE OF TOTAL RESTORATION THROUGH SALVATION

Ps. 3:1-5, Jn. 10:10, Ex. 15:26, Dan. 6:27, Is. 14:24, Is. 23:11, Lk. 1:37, Rom. 4:21

Salvation is equal to restoration of all that man lost in Adam. Adam lost all to the devil, Jesus recovers all for you. Restoration is a renewal or a revival of things that had died. Restoration is a total cure of health, it’s your healing. It’s a reconstitution of what has been damaged.

Restoration can be another word for redemption or a renewal or replacement of something that had been totally removed. Through salvation all your restraints are removedJn. 10:10, Lk. 11:20b.

Salvation means spiritual reconstruction, mental restructuring, physical restoration and financial revival. All these things come through genuine experience of salvation Jn. 3:3, 2 Cor. 5:17, Ezra 9:9.

God says blessed is he who sins are forgiven. Once you are saved you would enter into that blessing Mt. 9:2, 5, Ps. 32:1, Rom. 4:2. Through this times of refreshing and restructuring should come to you Acts 3:19, Acts 8:12-38, Lk. 24:47, Is. 20:12, Acts 2:28.

The word restore is giving back Lk. 18:9, or bringing back to the original condition of health Matt. 12:13, Mk. 3:58, Lk. 6:10. This word is used in the total restoration of Israel including the revival of the covenant that was originally broken Matt. 17:11, Mk. 9:12, Acts 6:1.

There are so many things that salvation restores. You can claim these things by faith. If you can believe them, and act on them, you can receive them. The restorations are not automatic. You have to know that these things belong to you and use that confidence in the promises of God to get them. Look at some of the things that salvation brings back to you.

1.Salvation brings restoration of health

Mk. 2:5-12, Exo. 15:26, Deut. 7:12, Deut. 28:27, Exo. 23:25-26 –

Jesus makes it abundantly clear that it is His will that you are in healthy. Your health from diseases is God’s will. The crucified Christ brought healing to everyone. The saving Jesus is also the healing Jesus Ps. 103:6. The same way your sins are forgiven is the same way through faith that your bodies are healed Eph. 2:8. You should claim your healing.Be persistent in demanding it from God until you get it. It is your right to be well, it is His will to heal you Mt. 8:17. Receive it now by faith.

2.Salvation is the beginning of good works in you

Phil. 1:6, 1 Cor. 2:12, 1 Cor. 1:8, Jn. 10:10, Jam. 1:17, 1 Pet. 3:10.

A good work is simply a good work. It’s anything good, nice, houses, wellness, prosperity, success, achievements, provision, protection are all good works. This good works actually begins at salvation. It’s not the end. The first few things you received after salvation should continue. For God’s will is to perfect that which He has begun. You go back to the word of God.Look at the good things in the bible. See those things that God had provided and begin to claim them. There’s no limit to what good things God can provide, if you are saved and exercise your faith for them.

3.Salvation brings prosperity

Gen. 9:1-3, Prov. 10:22, Gen. 24:35, Ps. 37:22, Deut. 32:34, Gen. 8:22, Job 5:24-26, 2 Chro. 1:21; Job 8:7-21, Deut. 7:21, Jam. 1:5 –

The way you should prosper is through the power that God gives you to get well. Those powers involveswisdom Jam. 1:5.It involves the blessing of works of your hand. Blessing your children. Giving you understanding. Granting you ideas that brings divine wealth to you Deut. 8:18, Prov. 10:22, Gen. 24:35, Ps. 37:22.

If you are a true believer you must take your mind away directly from the worldly system. You can’t love the world, but must think in Godly kingdom principle. Moreover, all the wealth of this world belongs to your Father. He would put them in your hands through wisdom and creativity and ideas.

The greatest way to prosper is to ask for ideas from God, and the means to the execution of those ideas, instead of waiting endlessly for somebody would do you good. With a new mindset you can begin to prosper if you pray and ask the Holy Spirit for those thingsRom. 12:3.

4.Salvation brings Joy

1 Jn. 1:4, Exo. 15:1-22, 1 Thes. 5:16, 1 Sam. 18:6-7, Lk. 10:17, Acts 2:46-47, 1 Pet. 1:8, 9, James 1:2 –

There are two sources of Joy in salvation. The first one is the joy of salvation itself. This is what you receive after you have the initial experience of salvation. But it doesn’t stop there. When you have battles that you win, you receive joy Judg. 5. When you give birth to a child and your desires are fulfilled you have joy 1 Sam. 2:1-11. When you slew Goliath you’ll have joy1 Sam. 18:6-7. When you make a request and you have an answer you would also have joy. Your joy is full when you are fulfilled. When the devil become subject to you would have joy Lk. 10:17. When you are healed in your body, you are also full of joy Acts 2:46-47. This is the kind of joy that the early church was experiencing. You too can have the same today. It’s your right to be filled with joy by your Father. To request things from him and get it. Your Father in heaven would make you happy, it’s part of your privileges and package that comes in through salvation.

MIRACLE WEEK

HOLINESS BIBLE STUDY

UNDERSTANDING HOW SALVATION COMES

Ps. 63:5, Ps. 65:4; 68:18, Is. 2:5, Is. 29:18, 19, Is. 61:1-4, Is. 55:1

To be truly saved and receive many of the daily benefits of redemption, you must do it in the way it was done by the apostles. These days, there are few genuine conversion which results in the inability of the so called recipients to benefit from all that Christ has provided exclusively for those who trust their souls to Him2 Cor. 5:17. In the modern world, the evidence of lack of genuine salvation is very many. People don’t have victory over sin. No victory over the devil. No victory over the flesh and no victory over the world. To have genuine salvation you must receive it the way that Christ provided it for you.

1.Salvation starts with hearing the word of God:

Jn. 17:2, Jn. 5:24, Jn. 8:12, Jn. 6:48-57, Jn. 13:8, Jn. 10:9 -

To be saved you must first hear the Word from someone who exposes the word of God in a way that is biblical. To have scriptural salvation, you must hear scriptural message. Faith comes by hearing. You must hear that Jesus is the only way and have the conviction Rom. 10:17. You must hear that Jesus washes those who come to Him Jn. 13:8. You must hear that Jesus is the only one who give eternal life to all flesh Jn. 17:2. You must hear that Jesus is the only door Jn. 10:9. You must hear that He is the light of the world.

When you are exposure to all these, fact your faith in them creates the awareness of genuine salvation. You must know that all have sinned in AdamRm. 3:23. You must be told the difference between the inherited sin and the actually committed sin. You must know that the two of them leads to spiritual death. You must understand that the original sin of Adam is the one that has connections with the salvation that you want to receiveRm. 3:23, Jn. 3:3, 1 Pet. 2:24.

2.Salvation starts with illumination:

Heb. 10:32, 2 Cor. 4:6, Heb. 6:4, Phil. 1:29-30 –

Illumination is what sheds light into your soul. It’s like a flood light that lightens your heartthe first time. It kindles an understanding in your human spirit.

When you are illuminated God clarifies piece of information that connects to salvation. The expanding of the word of God gives you a clear insight into the purpose of redemption. Then you are no longer ignorant. You have been instructed in the things of salvation. The Holy Spirit has interpreted the word to you.You have seen the light. This is what illumination does. Unless you get to this stage, you can’t receive in a way that would cause the benefits of redemption to have come to you.

3.Salvation starts with conviction of sin:

Gen. 4:13, Job 40:10, Ps. 31:10, Lam. 1:20, Ezek. 33:10, Micah 7:17, Lk. 5:8, Acts 16:29 –

Conviction is believing what has been said. It is changing your opinion to the opinion of what was spoken to you in the word of God. It is developing confidence in the presentation which has being given you. It is having an assurance and certainty that what is said to be true about sin, salvation, hell and heaven. In conviction you don’t have your own verdicts. You believe God’s verdicts. You are fully persuaded that what has being pronounced to the whole world is pronounced to you. Then you don’t doubt it.You let what is spoken prevail over your life. This persuasion leads to an acceptance. You see the believability of the word of God.It’s reasonable to you. It’s satisfactory, it is something you can put your faith into. That is how salvation comes in.

4.Salvation comes with forgiveness of sin:

Acts 6:18, Rom. 6:12-15 and so on –

To be saved you must repent of your sins and put your faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. Although you do not see the blood, through persuasion and conviction you understand its reality. You trust that it would do what it has promised to do.Of this you are certain. You did not come as someone who feels that he has something to offer God but that Christ has all it offeredto you. You now know that is nothing else you can do than just to have faith in the atonement. To believe in the power in the blood and to ask for forgiveness and cleansing, that leads to salvation. Can you receive it now?

MIRACLE WEEK

HOUSE FELLOWSHIP

SALVATION STARTS WITH RECEIVING GOD’S GRACE

1 Cor. 15:10, Lev. 26:11-12, Gal. 2:20, 21, Num. 6:27

In genuine salvation you know that it’s all done by God. There is nothing you ca do but Christ has done it all.You now receive that grace by faith. God says if righteousness comes by law then Christ died in vain. You cannot fulfill God’s law on your own, you can only come in by that faith that gives you the grace. God’s grace is abundant for you. God says I will set My tabernacle for you and My soul shall not abhor you and I will walk among you and be your God Lev. 26:11-12. They shall he put My name upon the children of Israel and I will bless them Num. 6:27. All these refer to the grace of God. It was Noah that first found grace in the eyes of the Lord when everybody was living in sin Gen. 6:8 & 9. In Sodom, God gave grace to Lot to get him saved Gen. 18:26.

Salvation comes by grace. Grace is God’s resources at Christ expense (G.R.A.C.E). You can receive that grace right now. If you can trust inthe finished work of God. Are you ready? Then repent and let Jesus Christ come in.

MIRACLE WEEK

WORKERS MESSAGE

THE IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOW UP

Acts 15:35 – 36, Acts 18:23, Acts 16:4-8

Follow up must immediately follow evangelism. You need to follow up because the new converts will definitely have a lot of problems for which theyneed to seek and find solutions. Whether its somebody trying to move from one church to Bible Life or from Islam or other part of Christianity into the gospel of holiness, it is very necessary to understand that he/she will need helpActs15:23-29. The early church focused on both evangelism and follow up alike. If we do not follow up people, we are justlike some people who do the sport of ‘angling’.When they catcha fish, they just pickup the fish, show it to the world, and throwit back into the water.

That is not the will of God. It is God’s will that we have souls saved andsanctified, disciplined and established in the house of God. We must follow upthe people and in doing so seek to establish them in the faith.Seek to encourage their faithespecially if they are facing trials and troubles or persecution. We seek toempower them for the glory of God.We seek to encompass them with the love of Christ whichhas also been shed abroad in our own heart. We seek to entrench them in the full ministry so that theytoo be partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through competition.

Under any circumstance, we must ensure that we take responsibility for a soul after he’s saved. You cannot leave the fish in the waters. Seek to work on that soul in the water but you must seek to work on that soul until he/she becomes established.

WEEK 2 – SUNDAY SERMON

GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION

Gen. 3:1-7, Rom. 5:12-17, James 1:1-13; Heb. 2:9-15; 1 Cor. 1:21, 1 Cor. 1:20, 1 Jn. 4:9, Mt. 14:24, Gen. 3:24, Rm. 8:3

God had a plan for the redemption of all mankind after the fall Gen. 3:15. The plan of Satan was to ensure that no human being ever gets to heaven. God’s plan originally was to have fellowship with men for the rest of eternity. This was why He placed man on probation to test his faithfulness so that they can achieve his goals. Satan deceived our fore-parents causing them to eat of the forbidden fruit. With that Satan thinks that he had won the whole battle. Infact his original intention of Lucifer was not that man would eat only the forbidden fruit but as man would also take of the tree of life and live forever in that fallen state. God frustrated that effort by placing the Cherubim’s and the Flaming sword in the way of the tree of life. Later God made a provision by which man would be restored to Himself out of his love for us Gen. 3:24. Today we can be rest assured that this plan has being in existence since the ages. Every human being who falls under that plan would enter into God’s kingdom 1 Cor. 1:20.

2.The part that God plays in the plan–

Jn. 3:16, Rm. 5:8, 1 Jn. 4:9

The plan of God was to redeem us back to HimselfRm. 15:9, Rm. 5:10, Rm. 8:3, Rm. 9:11. The means by which He was going to achieve it was the make sure that the seed of the human destroyed the head of the serpent Gen. 3:15. He immediately indicated the process of that salvation when God quickly took an animal and killed it and used the skin of the animal to cover them Gen. 3:21, Heb. 9:22, Gen. 4:3. The plan is that He would send His only begotten Son born of a womanGen. 3:15. The plan is that blood would be involved in the process, because Adam died spiritually Ex. 12:13, Mk. 14:24. All death involves blood of some sorts. For an animal or a human being to die, blood must be involved. For our salvation blood must be involved. In essence we can say that a woman, a seed and blood are the three ingredients in that God plan. Since the ages therefore, God has being doing everything possible to ensure that these three elements are come into operation. Today without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Today if the Son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed. Today when it is in the fullness of time God send His Son born of a woman Gal. 4:4. This is the ultimate plan. To receive salvation, these three elements must come into play in your life.

3.The part you play in that plan –

Acts 4:12, Ex. 12:13, Jn. 3:3, Rom. 5:1-6, Rom. 8:1, 1 Cor. 1:31

Different people have different ways they feel to achieve salvation. In most cases, most of the plan excludes God, excludes His Son and excludes blood. That is man’s way of saving Himself through his righteousness. In the plan of God, your responsibility is to play your part after God has played His own part. Your part is as follows:

Understanding that no salvation can come without the involvement of the Son of God, the blood of Jesus Christ, and His death Acts 4:12. God has indicated this right from the beginning immediately after the fall. He has said that the seed of the woman would destroy the head of the serpent Gen. 3:15. He has also indicated immediately by killing an animal using the skin to cover them. That serves as a type of coverings so that when he sees the blood he would pass over Exo. 12:13.

The part you should play is to accept what He has done. Then put your absolute faith in it. It is to know that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby would be saved Acts 4:12. It is to accept God’s righteousness instead of trusting in your own righteousness 1 Cor. 1:30-31. It is to ensure that you repent of your sins and invite God’s only begotten Son into your life Jn. 3:3.

4.The pardon in the plan –

Ezek.18, 31, 32, Hos. 2:7, Mal. 3:7, Zech. 1:3, Mt. 4:17, Joel 1:14

Salvation requires absolute repentance Ezek. 33:10. This is based on the fact that all have sinned and come sort of the glory of God. We all sinned in AdamRom. 3:23, Prov. 15:11, then we sin when we come into the world Rom. 6:1-20. Therefore God distinguishes between the inherited sin from Adam and the personally committed sin. Many people would claim innocence and perfection by comparing themselves with other people like the Pharisees Lk. 11:43, Lk. 12:1. This is wrong. Also you cannot feel that the sins of Adam was not your sin. Adam represented humanity. His sins were our sins. That day when they disobeyed God we all disobeyed God. That also must be repented of Rom. 5:10-15. By fulfilling these two conditions of pardon from sin and blood of Jesus Christ, you can have the true experience of salvation Jn. 3:3.
