The Michael DiPaola Foundation & Scholarship
Dear Community Member:
Michael DiPaola was a brilliant student at Magothy River Middle School, as well as a gifted athlete who succeeded in most everything he attempted. He was adored by his family, and admired by countless friends and neighbors. He truly touched all who were lucky enough to know him.
Unfortunately, on March 25, 2014, Michael’s life came to an end much too soon. In order to keep his memory alive, a foundation has been created in his name. Thus far, the foundation has contributed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, Broadneck Kindness Committee, and formed the annual Broadneck High School scholarship fund which will be awarded to a deserving graduating senior each year.
In an effort to continue to give back to the community, the Michael DiPaola Foundation Committee is organizing a 5K race/walk that will take place on October 4, 2014 at 9:00am, starting at Belvedere Elementary School. 100% of the proceeds from this race will go toward the Michael DiPaola Foundation.
This foundation/scholarship effort is a true community endeavor, and we hope for a sponsorship commitment from you! Please see the next page for ways you can participate in what we hope will be a mutually beneficial partnership. We thank you greatly for your support in this endeavor.

*You can attend our event and host a table to advertise your company or organization.
*We are happy to hand out any of your promotional materials to all runners at our race.
