“Let the word of God dwell in you richly in all wisdom:” Col 3:16 KJV January 20, 2013

THE PRESIDENTS PEN

My dear friends in Christ Jesus,

As we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King; let us not get caught up in the parades and many other events that are happening that we forget to celebrate the legacy, character and life style of the man himself. Who once said, “Integrity is what you have when no one is looking.”

Which is exactly what we must have as Christians, we must let our light shine always no matter what, where or whom; because God is always looking.

Let us enter theyear 2013 being faithful followers of Him and His Son Jesus Christ. For when we are filled with and led by the Holy Spirit we will follow the instructions of God and reap success. God Bless all of YOU!

Your servant President

President Obama 2nd Inauguration

The Presidential Inauguration will be held in Washington DC on Monday, January21, 2013. A week of festivities will include the Presidential Swearing-in Ceremony, Inaugural Address, Inaugural Parade and numerous inaugural balls and galas honoring the elected President of the United States. The official theme for the 2013 inauguration is “Faith in America’s Future,” commemorating the United States’ perseverance and unity, marking the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the placement of the Statue of Freedom atop the Capitol Dome in 1863. An estimated 1.8 million people attended the 2009 Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama, a record breaking number for any event in the nation’s capital. LET US WITNESS HISTORY MAKING AGAIN, BY TUNING IN!

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

President Barack Obama designated January National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.Friday’s Weekend of Prayer begin with a call for prayer meetings throughout the nation and individuals were encouraged to pray at home and work for the victimsof trafficking and the “johns” that create demand for the trade. The evening’s events included webcasts of prayer gatherings from major cities.

On Sunday, Jan. 13, churches and congregations are encouraged to say a prayer for the end of slavery. Among the members of the coalition are the Florida Coalition against Human Trafficking and the Florida Abolitionist. Florida Abolitionist founder Tomas J. Lares, who also cofounded the Orlando Rescue and Restore Coalition, is the national chair of the Weekend of Prayer coalition.
