Request made to transfer membership from deceased head of household to adult child of the member. Researching our by-laws, there is not a provision for this unless it is designated prior to death by the member. Because the membership is issued only to the head of household, it is not able to transferred to the next generation posthumously. It is not possible to make exception to the by laws without a 2/3 vote of membership. The Board recommends the sale and re-issue of the bond to the requesting family member of the deceased club member.

Request made by a member who wishes to pay dues now in order to get on the list as early as possible to rent membership next summer. The Swim Club is not able to take payments for Summer 2017 for the remainder of 2016. Payment will be made available upon the new year (2017).

Concerns shared that NV Pools didn’t take down basketball hoops, didn’t bag lifeguard chairs, and the deck was a bit messy following closing weekend. In our kickoff meeting next year with NV Pools, the board needs to clarify expectations for closing. Recommend the board develop checklist for closing summer 2017.

Suggest child at play signs be put out front during the swim season to foster slower traffic on Sydenstricker. Additionally, it is suggested that clean up day include trimming of trees next to the parking lot to remove obstructions to view of oncoming traffic.
