Meeting room booking conditions & general information

Health & Safety

  • The user is responsible for ensuring that any electrical equipment they bring to Dhiverse,together with its set-up, meets current statutory safety standards.
  • The user is responsible for ensuring that they and their delegates are awareof the Fire Evacuation Procedure(on the back of the meeting room door) at the startof the meeting/event.
  • In the event of an accident occurring whilst using the meeting room please advise a memberof staff. There is a First Aid box in the meeting room and key contact numbers on the wall by the door entry handset.
  • Any damage caused to the building, contents or appliances whilst using the DHIVERSE meeting room must be rectified, replaced or repair costs covered. We reserve the right to refuse future bookings if these conditions are not met. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to or loss of equipment/materials/belongings whilst at DHIVERSE.

Use

The meeting room should be left in the same condition as it was provided with all

rubbish in the bin, windows closed, equipment turned offand unplugged and cups etc. back on the tray.

  • Please do not attach anything to the walls.
  • Please finish your meeting on time as there may be others waiting to use the room.
  • Payment is expected within 30 days of the date of use.

Cancellation

  • If you need to cancel the booking please do so as far in advance as possible so that we have the opportunity to offer it to other organisations or use it ourselves.

Address/Parking/Access information

  • Address: Office B, Dales Brewery, Gwydir Street, Cambridge CB1 2LJ
  • Parking: There is no parking at Dales Brewery. There is a short stay car park across the road and on road parking bays – both have disabled parking bays.
  • Travel: Dales Brewery is within a 10 minute walk from Cambridge Railway station and the number 2 bus stops very close to Gwydir Street
  • Access: Our meeting room is up one flight of stairs to the first floor and toilets are on the same level. Please note:Dales Brewery is a listed building owned by Cambridge City Council and there is no lift or ramp access.
  • There is a café below our office and a number of shops (inc a Sainsburys Local), restaurants, bakeries, cafes and pubs nearby on Mill Road.
