Life Quote – July 8

When you realize all that is attainable by marrying and unattainable by living together without marrying, you have to wonder why anyone would voluntarily choose not to marry the person he or she wishes to live with forever.” Dennis Prager, author, talk show host, and syndicated columnist. A Life Quote from Lutherans For Life / www.lutheransforlife.org

Vacation Bible School

Ready to take the plunge? It is time to register for Great Bible Reef Vacation Bible School! Join us August 20-24th from 6:00-8:00 pm for an underwater-themed program of faith-filled fun! Great Bible Reef invites all children ages 4 years old through 6th grade to share the good news of Jesus’ love for us by being his disciples. At Great Bible Reef you will hear stories about Jesus, make cool crafts, sing fun songs, eat super snacks and meet a school of new friends. Add your name to the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board or contact Sheila Stehr at 923-4708 or if you would like to attend. Teachers, helpers and snack providers are needed as well. The deadline for sign-up is July 15th.

A Note from Vivian Mock

Thank you all so much for the many birthday cards I received for my 100th birthday. With each card came fond memories of all of you! The Lord has been very good to me and I keep looking forward to singing praises when He takes me home to be with Him.

Thank you again,

Vivian Mock

[Vivian went home to be with her Lord on July 1, 2007.]

Thank You from the Kassen Family

We want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during our transition of Eddie going to be with Jesus. The cards and gifts of food and memorials were greatly appreciated.
