A Taste of the Tour will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will provide a sampling of four selected tour homes, with an added bonus of chef prepared and served food tastings from some of the area’s top restaurants. The co-chairs of A Taste of the Tour, Jennie Highfield, Jennifer Towell and Janis Worley, are excited about what this event has to offer. “Not only do you have the chance to see the tour in advance, you will have a wonderful opportunity to sample delicious food from a variety of local restaurants,” explained Jennifer Towell. “And, if that isn’t enough, you’ll have the chance to meet many of the chefs in person.”

Tickets are $45 per person for Standard Level tickets and $85 per person for Patron Level tickets. Reservations are required. A Taste of the Tour tickets, maps and goodie bags must be picked up in advance and will be available between noon and 2:00 p.m. at the Junior League of Akron offices at 929 W.
