GRR FILM FESTIVAL
THE ITALIAN SHORTFILM FESTIVAL
FOR STUDENT AND YOUNG FILMAKERS
OF HIGH SCHOOL AND ACADEMY
GRR is a film festival aimed to video productions made by young people. A chance to make out the creativity and the desire to make films without big productions.
The best will be rewarded with money prize, and a selection among all those submitted will be screened in Ravenna, in the Rasi Theatre, from March 22nd to March 27th .
THE REGULATIONS
The GRR Festival (Young Filmmakers tell) is open to all films, no longer than 30 minutes. The short films can be in any format (video cameras, smartphones, mobiles and any other technology) and from every nation (if in a foreign language , although English-speaking , they are absolutely required subtitles in English or in Italian).
VERY IMPORTANT The category Grr International School Award is aimed to all the directors enrolled in a film school without the constraints of age.
Documentaries, industrial films, commercials and propaganda will not be admitted to the competition. Participation in the competition may be refused on the screen technically not able to guarantee good public screening .

Sections and prizes
GRR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AND ACADEMY AWARD: section dedicated to short films made by students of film schools in the world. To participate, just be enrolled in a film school. The prize is 300 euros. Sending the registration request is enough to indicate the film school that you are attending.
GRR AWARD: to the best shortfilm (prize money 200 euros) realized by directors born between 1/1/1994 and 31/12/2003
CUORE E TERRITORIO (HEART AND TERRITORY) PRIZE: to the most valuable short to face social and humanitarian subjects. Prize money 200 euros.
METHOD 'FOR REGISTRATION
First option :
It's possible to enter the contest by uploading a short film on the platforms Vimeo or Youtube.
After uploading the video registered for the competition , simply send an e-mail to with the link to the short film. If selected you will be asked to send the DVD or a digital file in its original format shooting .
The registration form that is attached to the notice must instead completed, signed.
Second option :
The DVD (or USB key ) of the short film , together with a copy of the completed and signed entry form must be sent to:

The data collected from the direction of the festival will be treated in accordance with Decree . 30th June 2003 196 - Code concerning the protection of personal data.

GENERAL AND COMPLAINTS
Registration and participation in the Contest implies full acceptance of this Regulation and of the entry form . For each exception which is not covered in the above regulation, the Festival management reserves the right to take final decisions and not amenable.
GRR is organized by filmmaker Gerardo Lamattina , by the Circolo Sogni - Antonio Ricci and is included in the project RavennaScreen . With the support of the Municipality of Ravenna - Department of Culture. The realization of the festival is made possible by the valuable collaboration with the Art School Nervi Severini, with which the project was born and raised in all these years, and Technical Institute Morigia Perdisa.
