THE IMPORTANCE OF GOD'S GUIDANCE

a)Jeremiah 29:12-13 "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
We will find God's will when we sincerely seek Him with all our heart.
b)Luke 11:9-10 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
We must persistently and boldly ask God to reveal His will to us until He answers.
c)Joshua 9:3-6 "However, when the people of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and Ai, 4they resorted to a ruse: They went as a delegation whose donkeys were loaded with worn-out sacks and old wineskins, cracked and mended. 5The men put worn and patched sandals on their feet and wore old clothes. Joshua 9:12-14 "This bread of ours was warm when we packed it at home on the day we left to come to you. But now see how dry and moldy it is. 13 And these wineskins that we filled were new, but see how cracked they are. And our clothes and sandals are worn out by the very long journey. 14 The men of Israel sampled their provisions but did not inquire of the Lord."
We should ask God for His wisdom in everything we do. We should consult Him instead of putting our trust in the things we can see.
d)John 10:4 "When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice."
We should develop a personal relationship with Jesus by spending devotional time with Him every day. After we know Him on a personal level, we will be able to recognize His voice. We should listen to His voice and obey Him.
e)Isaiah 8:19 "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?"
We can find God's will by using His ways, not our ways. We should consult Him when we want to make any decision.
