The Ideal School Project: Mission Statement
Directions: A mission statement serves as an introduction. It officially states the theme of your school and reveals the spirit of what the school is about. In a general sense, it describes what the school is like and what principles it stands for. A mission statement should be emotional, moving, even inspirational, so your school is portrayed in a way that it is attractive to the person seeing it for the first time.
Your assignment requires that each team member write down answers to the following questions on a separate sheet of paper. These answers must be handed in by each team member. They must be written in complete sentences. Then, based on these answers, you must write an eloquent (well written, moving) mission statement which introduces us to your Ideal School.
