Dear Senator ______:

It has now been over three months since the murder of Kristopher William Eggle. He was the Federal Law Enforcement Ranger from Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Az who was ambushed and brutally killed by the Mexican hitman who had murdered four people the day before in a drug war.

What have you done since August 9, 2002, to ensure more safety for American citizens and those who are guarding our borders and National Park areas? This is a major concern to us and to our community. As taxpayers and legal citizens we deserve answers and actions.

The Law Enforcement Rangers and other Federal Officers stationed in these dangerous border areas deserve the protection from our country. They need a vehicle barrier; more staff; better equipment; and military on the borders until major safety changes can be enacted.

We are also troubled that nothing is being done about all the incursions the Mexican military have done into the United States. What other foreign country has been allowed to send military troops into our land and shoot at our Federal Law Enforcement Officers? Where is your outrage? Is there a problem with offending someone?

You, as a member of Congress or leader of a Department, have asked these young men and women to help protect the U.S. That includes protection for you, your family members, and your friends. How about these officers? Don’t they also deserve you to care enough to fight for their protections too?

Please consider seriously the questions we have asked. Remember the sacrifice Kristopher William Eggle made. Does his murder mean that political correctness wins? Or does it mean that some people will FINALLY do what is right so justice can be done for Kris, his family, and friends?

It is time NOW to truly protect America against the crimes of ILLEGAL aliens, drug-smugglers, weapons traffickers, and possibly terrorists. Those who have good intentions should come through during the daylight hours and do it the LEGAL way.

Please respond as soon as possible. We want to hear your ideas on how to make this country a safer place. We also want to hear how you will answer Kris Eggle’s family.
