Dear Parents,

We are busy planning for the Halton Waldorf Summer camp, which takes place on our school grounds from June 22 through July 24. Junior campers (ages 4-6) will enjoy a play-based curriculum interwoven with crafts and outdoor activities. Senior campers (ages 7-11) will celebrate the joys of summer through a variety of stimulating crafts and activities, exploration in nature, music and co-operative games. The leaders of the camp are experienced Waldorf teachers who will provide the structure and leadership for a unique camp experience.

Please find enclosed dates and costs for the camp as well as a registration form. The registration form must be completed and full payment made to reserve a spot at camp. The early bird fee applies to registrations received by April 30. Applicants are accepted on a first-received, first-served basis. Pleasemake cheques payable to the Halton Waldorf School.Payment can also be dropped off at the school or mailed to Halton Waldorf School, 2193 Orchard Road, Burlington, Ontario L7R 7J8. Payment is non-refundable once camp has begun. An administrative fee of $35 will be charged for cancellations made less than two weeks before start date. There is no refund for missed days.

Official hours for the camp are9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Care is available before (beginning at 8:30am) and after (to 5:30pm) scheduled camp hours. There is an additional fee for aftercare, $20 for the week or $5 a day. Your attention to respecting these hours is much appreciated by staff and children. Pleasecomplete your request for Aftercare on the attached application form.

Children will need to bring a lunch, snacks and beverages each day, as well as awarmer layer. A change of clothes would be helpful, especially for younger children. Please ensure all items are well labeled.

In order to provide an enjoyable experience for all campers, a code of behaviour will be honoured by everyone. Respectforthe rules of the camp and for each other are the foundations of this code and will be explained to all children.

We look forward to welcoming your childto the Halton Waldorf Summer camp! If you have any questions, please contact Kristine or Siobhan at (905) 331-4387.
