- Establish academic input into regional research and evaluation opportunities and set the regional training agenda
Identify what partnerships with academic and training institutions, community agencies and MSHHS currently exist and identify further partners where required
Identify target groups/practices that this strategic area focuses on such as staff, community, service users, specific service delivery
Identify one KPI : wellness indicator to evaluate across Charter signatory agencies in 2014 - 2015
Seek academic input into the development/adoption of a shared evaluation tool for the Charter signatory agencies
Identify who is going to set the agenda for research/evaluation projects - Leadership Group or regional networks
Identify shared training agenda based on national and international trends.

- Establish an annual day of collaboration for all members of the Joint Mental Health Collaborative to enable celebration of the current year’s work and plan forward priorities and consider funding opportunities to support these priorities
- Seek funding for regional projects/service improvements that improve community connections and the mental health and wellbeing of people with a serious mental illness living in the Bayside, Logan and Southside regions
