The Society will notify all applicants of the results. INCOMPLETE AND LATE APPLICATIONS AND INELIGIBLE APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Please enclose:
-sealed letters of recommendation from two professors, with at least one from a teacher of
theatre on your university faculty (high school seniors may submit letters from high school
faculty).
- an OFFICIAL transcript showing a B cumulative grade point average or above.
-a resume of you technical theatre experience, including awards.
-a personal letter to the Society describing your interest in technical theatre and the Gilbert &
Sullivan Society of Houston Internship, as well as any special circumstances regarding the
amount of financial aid you expect to receive (and need) for the 2017-2018 school year.
-a headshot and bio suitable for printing in our playbill.
I, ______, understand that this scholarship will be paid in two equal payments to the college or university where I am enrolled for the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 academic terms. If I withdraw at any time, change to part-time status, or change my major, I shall immediately notify the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Houston and the remaining scholarship money will be returned by my college to the Society. I will allow the Society to use my name and photograph for publicity purposes and in the program of their annual production.
