Dear {Name},

Denver Delta, Inc., and the Denver Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., are pleased to announce the 11th Annual Step it Up in the Mile High City Step Show. The step show is a family friendly event that draws thousands of attendees from across Colorado, particularly from the African American and Latino communities. Members of African American Greek Letter organizations compete in a dance competition, and youth groups and dance organizations are invited to showcase their talents. This year’s step show will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015, on the campus of the Metropolitan State University of Denver.

We would like to invite you to join us as a sponsor for this very special event whose partial proceeds support our educational development and youth programs.

Your sponsorship helps support our youth educational programs, including:

1.  College scholarships – Awarded to deserving young women and range from $500 to $4000. Awards are determined by academic scholarship, community service and a personal interview.

2.  ACT College Preparatory Workshop – Free program to prepare high school students for college admission. Students receive intensive review of the ACT Prep study and test taking techniques.

3.  Delta Academy – Free mentoring program for girls ages 11-14. Program topics have included science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), self-esteem and healthy lifestyle practices.

4.  Delta GEMS – Free mentoring program that provides tools for girls ages 14-18 to sharpen academic skills; learn about goal setting; and create caring, community-minded young women.

5.  EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) – Mentoring program designed to focus the efforts of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., with the support and action of other major organizations, on the plight of African-American males.

We have developed several corporate sponsorship levels that offer opportunities for your organization to reach the demographic we serve.
