Station #1: The Culper Ring and George Washington

Using the resources available at the table complete the following task

Assignment: Write a 2-3 sentence short code pretending you are a spy sending a message to General George Washington. (Does not have to be real, can be fiction). It should reflect something going on during a war.

Example:

Translates to:

General Washington a heavy human attack port valuable gold protect. Pursue Germain traitor. Formidable danger.

This would be a message sent to General Washington to let him know his port that had gold was being attacked by a traitor named Germain, and that there was a lot of danger.

Sentences do not need to have perfect structure etc..the point is to get information across quickly and securely.

Station 2: French Revolution Biographies

Using the resources available answer the following questions.

King Louis XVI:

  1. What major crisis did King Louis XVI face, that resulted in him calling the Estates General, thus giving the Third Estate a platform to start their revolution?

Station #6 Napoleon’s Life

Watch the video, and then use the PowerPoint and video to put the following events in the correct order.

Use the directions to complete the project on the board. After every 2 groups I will save the project and reopen a new slide for the next group. Write all group member names on the space provided (on board)

Station #8: Finishing Station

Use this station as make up time. If you were absent continue to work on completing parts of this packet. If you are not finished with the packet you can work ahead (load up stations on the IPad, that you have not been to yet and get a head start). If you are finished with the packet/caught up, then work on the Unit VI Test Review questions that were assigned for homework.
