"The Project Plan"
Refer again to the information about the Reliable Pharmaceutical Service (RPS) at the end of Chapter 1, “The World of the Information Systems Analyst.”
Management at RPS has placed a high priority on developing a Web-based application to connect client facilities with RPS’ main headquarters. This will require the automation of information handling related to patients, health-care facilities, and prescriptions.

  1. As the project manager for this project, develop a scope statement.
  2. Then, develop a work breakdown structure in MS Project or Open Project with at least five (5) major tasks and twenty (20) subtasks with meaningful task durations and predecessor relationships. Tasks are presented in a verb-noun format.

The format of the paper is to be as follows:

  • Submit two (2) documents: (1) MS Project or Open Project work breakdown structure and (2) one to two (1–2) typed pages, double-spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), one-inch margins on all sides, with APA format for the scope statement.
  • Use headers for each of the subjects being covered, followed by your response.
  • In addition to the one to two (1–2) pages required, a title page is to be included. The title page is to contain the title of the assignment, your name, the instructor’s name, the course title, and the date.

Note: You will be graded on the quality of your answers, use of project management tools, the logic/organization of the report, your language skills, and your writing skills.
The assignment will be graded using the following rubric:

Outcomes Assessed /
