The First Grade Times

Hello Parents and Guardians!! This week in reading we will be reading “Todd’s Box” by Paula Sullivan. We will focus on the short /o/ vowel sound. We will continue working in the Envisions Math series. At the moment we are learning about subtraction. Please practice these concepts at home with your child. We will also continue working on handwriting.

We will be sending home your child’s binder and agenda books every night. You will find important papers, our weekly newsletter, homework for the week (Sent home every Monday), spelling lists, data information, behavior notes/daily behavior, and ANY other information that we need to send home, so we can communicate with you and make this year successful.
