RULES

Ages as at 1st January 2011

This competition will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules. The judge’s decision will be final.

Teams will jump enbloc for both rounds. The second round will be timed.

No rider may ride more than one horse/pony in any one team.

No horse/pony can be ridden in more than two classes.

Declarations to be made at least half an hour prior to the start of the class. Late changes/additions will be accepted at the organiser’s discretion.

Teams must present themselves15 minutes before they are due to jump for tack inspection. It is the responsibility of the team manager to familiarise the competitors with the CORRECT turnout requirements. Spurs letters will be required.

Correct protective helmets must be checked and tagged before the day and worn at all times when mounted.

The wearing of body protectors is recommended.

In the event of very hot weather, you will only be allowed to compete without a jacket if you are wearing a long sleeved white shirt. This will be at the judge’s discretion.

LIABILITY: Neither the landowners, organiser’s, nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.

The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending. For these measures to be effective, everyone must themselves take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the organiser’s and all the officials and stewards.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
