The following letter is correspondence from a tempter demon on earth to the father of lies, Satan. Everything that Satan says in reply may or may not be truthful, for sure.
Dear Satan- My human is too humble. What can I do to instill a sense of pride and self-esteem into his psyche?

Dear Eegotrip:
Ithascometomyattentionthatyoudidn’tattendoneourclassesdownhere onPride. Pride,asweallknow,is one of the easiest and best ways to get your human puppet on the slippery slope to our dinner table. It seems incomprehensibletomethatyoudidn’ttakethetimetoattendthisclass,soIwillexpecttohearfrom youasto why you missed it.
I myselfinventedpridewhenItriedtorightfully assumethethroneoftheEnemyAbovemanyeons ago. I havesuccessfullyusedthisweaponwithmankindoverthecenturies. IntheGardenofEden,forexample, Iplayedtothefirsthumans’sense ofpridebysuggestingtothem that“Yeshallbeasgods.” Theytookthe baitandranwithit,andnowlookatallthefunwehaveonadailybasis–murder,mayhem,rapingand pillaging,bombings,dissension,divorce,war,rampanthomosexuality, etc. AndallbecauseAdam andEve wanted to be like HIM.
Beauty
There are four human characteristics that are particularly useful to us when we play the Pride card. The first of thesefouris beauty. Mostbeautifulhumanswerebornthatway,andthey hadabsolutely nothingtodowiththeir appearance. Allofthat wasdecidedbytheEnemyAbovemany yearsago,whenHefirstdesignedaplanfor eachandeveryhumanthatHEwouldeventually create. However,humanpridewhisperstotheirpsyche,along with us, of course, that they are fantasticandwonderfulhumanbeingsmerely because they are beautiful, and they therefore have every“right”toexpecteveryoneelsetodotheirbidding becauseoftheirlooks. Theuglyhumans,tothem,are somehowlessdeservingoflife’spleasures,andcanthenbeassumedtobeworthlessintheeyesof“theworld.” Thankstotheadvances ofscience(anothergreatsubjectforanothertime,perhaps!)andmodernmedicine,ugly peoplearenowspendingsmallfortunesgoingundertheknife tomakethemselvesintosomethingtheyarenot– beautiful. In so doing, they are thwarting the plan thatour Enemy Above had for them, and so we have that going for us. Theyarethuseliminatingacrossthattheyweresupposedtocarrythroughouttheirlifetime. Allofthis kind of thinkingis verygoodworkbyourfriendsin“themedia,”inHollywood, andonMadisonAvenue,whoglorifybeautyasbeing theonequalificationoverallothersthatisnecessarytobeinmagazines,to readthenewsonTV,to beinthemovies, etc. Asareminder,whenthebeautyistakenawaythroughscarscausedbyfires,wrecks,cuts,gettingold,etc., it is devastating to the humans, and then suicide becomes a real possibility for them.
Money
Thesecondofthefourcharacteristicsismoney. Peoplewhohavelotsof moneyusuallyput most, if notall, oftheirfaithinit. NotfaithinHIM,orfaithintheirfamily,orfaithintheircountry,orfaithintheirgood works,butinstead, faith intheirtotaltonnageofgreen, dirty, stinky moneyintheirbankaccount. HE said that it will be harder for a rich man to get into heaven, than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, but most people ignore HIM and desire the pursuit of the big bucks instead, thanks be to me! Ifwearefortunateenoughtohavehumanswithboth beautyandmoney,mostofourdevilishworkisalreadydoneforus. Peoplelikethatareusuallyfoundin Hollywood,makingdepravedmoviesthatareagloryuntome. Lotsofbare skinalong withfornication andadulteryisportrayedonthelargescreen,forthepleasure of the bored uglypeople, who are thusbeguiled, while at the same time being programmedin their minds that recreational sex has no bad consequences! The amusing thing is that it is allis done undertheguiseof “entertainment.” It is indeed entertaining for us to see all of the gullible uglo-humans, our future buffet, staring atthemoviescreenintotaladulation,wishingallofthetimethattheycouldbejustlikethebeautifulactorsand young starlets, doing exactly what they are seeing being done on-screen. Astheysay,“There’snobusinesslikeshow business!”
Power
Thethirdcharacteristicispower. Thisaphrodisiacisoneofthosethingsthatcanactuallybeachievedby penniless,uglypeople,likeourhumandisciplesHitlerandStalin. Throughsheerruthlessness,thesegreat leaders of men captivated the hearts (Yum!) of whole countries, and then made those countries reflect their personal view of unbelief, hate, and ruthlessness through war, starvation, mass murder, andexecutions. An atheist in totalcontrolofacountryisabeautifulthingtobehold.Thoseweregreatdaysforusbackin theearly20th century, but we seemed to have lost out on the “powerful leaders” strategy lately. As a result, we are having to resorttothe"beautyandmoney"strategiesofpride,whichcertainlycamouflagesourdemonic efforts,because even the so-called "goodChristians" seemto enjoy ogling beauty and getting rich.
Talent
The fourth and final pride topic of discussion today is talent. The Enemy Above distributes talent to each and everyhuman,butnotthesamekind,andnotinthesame amount. Asaresult,somehumansaregreatartists, someare great athletes, someare great carpenters, some are great writers, someare great singers, and someare greatactors. Ofcourse,thesehumanshadabsolutelynothingtodowithhavingthistalentresidingintheir bodies, but, thanks be to me, they believe that they had everything to do with being great at their craft. As aresult, pridesetsinandmostofthem lookdowntheirnosesattherestofmankindasbeinglazy anddumb, andnot worthy of any attention whatsoever,which is exactly what we want.
Camouflaging Pride
WehaveevenmanagedtodisguisePridebycallingitdifferentnames–Self-esteem,“IAmSomebody,”self-worth,etc. AlloftheseactionsputthehumanfirstoverHIM,aswell astheirfellowman,andthatalwaysleads to selfishness, divorce, murder, and so on. Our Enemy Above would actually have them believe that putting the otherfellowfirstwithself-sacrificeismoreimportantthananythingelse. HEevensaidthatHE“wasincarnated to serve, and not to be served, and that no slave is greater than his master.” Praise and honor be to me, though, that all of that claptraphasbeenforgottenorpushedasidebymostofthehumans. Now,self-esteem isactuallytaughtintheir classrooms,ratherthanwashingthefeetofone'slessers. “Mefirst”is nowthegoldenrule,andallofthat“do unto others” talk has now been pushed aside for self-gratification.
Envy
Nowthatyouhavereceivedthismini-trainingsessionfrommeonPride,don’tforgettousetheotherarrow inyourquiver,Envy. Allofthosepeoplewhoaren’tbeautiful,orrich,orpowerful,ortalented,allreallywant tobeatleastoneofthosethings,andmaybemore. So,workonthem, andwhispertothem thattheyhavebeen cheated in life’s lottery, and that theyshoulddowhateverittakestogetwhatever theywant. Playontheirfearsof beingpenniless,andtellthem thatif theyonlyhadgoodlooks,orwerebornwithalargeinheritance,thatthey couldhaveallthattheworldoffers. Neverletthem thinkforaminutethattheyaretohavetotaltrustintheir lovingFather(ugh!)inHeavenabove,whoisalwayslookingoutforthem. Rather,havethem puttheirfaithin themselves,andinallofthat"pullingyourself upbyyourownbootstraps"philosophy. Make them totally believe intheBen Franklinquotethat"HE onlyhelpsthosewhohelpthemselves.” Justremember,thosewhoslipthroughyour fingers by placing total trust in the Enemy Above will never make their way down here to our dinner table, and you will be held accountable for that.
