Wedding Announcement Policy & Form

The Duplin Times welcomes all wedding news and will publish these items on a first come, first served, space available basis with priority given to local residents.

  • The deadline for publication is 4:00 p.m., Friday afternoon prior to the desired week of publication.
  • Wedding write-ups appear in the paper as soon as possible (after the wedding) upon receipt of the announcement. A one-column picture will be used with write up.
  • The information below can be used as a guideline for the announcement. Copy, paste and save the information in a Word document. Completed forms can be emailed to or printed and brought to the newspaper office at 102 Front St., Kenansville, or mailed to Duplin Times, P O Box 69, Kenansville, NC.
  • The announcement can include a photograph of the bride or of the couple. Color or black-and-white photographs of a professional-quality photo rather than a snapshot can be submitted. We do not accept computer print-outs. Photographs in jpeg form can be emailed to or a photo can be scanned at the office.
  • After publication, photos may be picked up at The Duplin Times office or can be returned by mail if a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided.
