The Collegiate Community Scholarship

The Collegiate Community Scholarship is an initiative of the Collegiate Foundation and provides an opportunity for students to come to the School who may otherwise not be able to attend without financial assistance. It is a 50% scholarship funded by the Collegiate Foundation.

The Collegiate Community Scholarship is open to:

·  new students entering St Michael’s Collegiate School in Years 7 to 12 in 2017;

·  students who are Australian citizens or permanent school aged female residents in Australia; and

·  students who would not otherwise be able to attend Collegiate without financial assistance and subject to all reasonable means testing by the Management of the School.

When completing the Application Form, students should ensure that they demonstrate the following criteria in their answers:

·  a strong sense of family and community;

·  loyalty and purpose;

·  industry, application and leadership;

·  a desire to attend Collegiate; and

·  academic competence.

Applications for The Collegiate Community Scholarship must be submitted to the School by Friday 29 July, 2016.

Candidates and their parents/guardians will be required to attend an interview to discuss the contents of this application further.
