Rented plots that fall into disrepair (excessive weeds, overgrowth of plants beyond the borders of the bed, or other signs of neglect) will be revoked per the following procedure.

  1. Warning 1 via email or voicemail and given 3 days to rectify the situation or respond with a solution that will take place in no more than a week from the date of warning
  2. Warning 2 via email or voicemail and given 3 days to rectify the situation or respond with a solution that will take place in no more than a week from the date of warning
  3. Notification via email or written mail that the bed will be revoked within 3 days

There will be a communal garden workday on Sundays from 3-5 and Wednesdays from 5-7 Members will be added to the Campus Gardens Listserv to receive notifications about meetings, events, and to help coordination.

Basic tools and seeds will be available for use at no additional cost, however if members desire to use other seeds or tools then they will have to supply them independently. We ask that you please refrain from using artificial fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.

The rental seasons are a compromise between academic schedules and growing seasons, and we realize some may not line up accordingly (for example, you may be here for the spring but not the last two weeks of May). If you run into small problems like this, just let any fellow gardeners and the manager know of your situation, and we will work something out.

Members may work on their plot at any given time. The combination to the garden shed lock is 21-37-08, and the bench is 10-27-15 Please return tools to the shed in an orderly manner and lock it after use. Please do not harvest or tend plots that you are not renting unless you have permission from the caretaker.

Anyone may contact the Garden’s Manager for more information, questions, or concerns at
