WARE & HODDESDON JOINT CATHOLIC ALPHA COURSE

Is a weekly course which, gives us an opportunity to refresh our relationship with Jesus. Venue St. Augustine’s, Hoddesdon (Crypt), Dates 7 consecutive Thursdays, which began Thursday 19th April and runs until Thursday 31st May 2012. Time 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. All are Welcome. Each evening will begin with a simple meal, followed by a time of praise and worship, a video presentation, small group discussion and finishing with a complete group gathering for prayer. The collection for the Priest Training Fund takes place next weekend and all the money that you give will be used to encourage more men to consider the priesthood and to pay for the training of those who come forward. ECUMENICAL NOTICES

LoveWare:LiveWare

LoveWare:LiveWare is now gearing up to a full programme of spring and summer events. They will be running the usual festival days as follows:

Saturday May 5th at Lower Bourne Gardens, 10.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.

Friday August 24th at Grange Gardens, 10.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.

Saturday August 25th at King George Field, 10.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.

Past and prospective volunteers will have the chance to meet and get to

know each other at a social gathering on Saturday 21st April (7.30 p.m. at Christ Church Hall, food and drink provided) and there will be a further opportunity for bonding at a fund raising quiz at Leaside Church on Saturday 16th June. The organisers are hoping that this year the ‘LoveWare’ events will be fully ecumenical with lots of volunteers from all the churches.
