The Carlos Malú Álvarez International Study Scholarship

For the 2017 UTSA-ITAM Summer Mexico City Program

The Carlos and Malú Álvarez International Study Scholarship was established to enhance understanding of Mexico and Latin America. The scholarship is awarded to defray the cost to students participating in the UTSA-ITAM Summer Mexico City Program.

Qualifications for this award:

Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student with a declared major in Geography, Global Affairs or Political Science, or as Minor in the Latin American StudiesProgram with a cumulative GPA through Fall 2016 of 2.5 or better for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students; must be registered in the 2017 UTSA-ITAM Study Abroad program; must submit complete application by deadline.Scholarship recipients will be selected based on merit and need-based qualifications.
