When Atlanta teenager Devontavius McClainis found dead in the trunk of an abandoned car, Detective Benton learns of a promising lead – the teenager recently came out as gay and planned to meet up with someone he met online. The detectives follow his online messages through twists and turns in order to find his killer.Then in Cincinnati, Detective Mitscharrives to a grim scene – Nathan Poellnitz has been shot in the head. With an increase of recent violence in this neighborhood, Detective Mitsch relies on the Fugitive Apprehension Unit and her skills in the interrogation room to solve this murder.

Don’t Cross Me

A man driving home along a secluded area of Cincinnati comes across what he thinks is debris in the road, and is shocked to discover a teenager who is bleeding heavily from gunshot wounds. The man immediately calls 911, but Dwayne Lewis, Jr. succumbs to his injuries before paramedics arrive. Detective Mitsch and her partner are called to the scene to investigate who is responsible for this teen’s death. She discovers that the victim was from a popular neighborhood where there has been a recent increase in crime in connection to a notorious Cincinnati drug dealer.

The Cell Phone Exchange

A pedestrian walking across a bridge findsa man bleeding, but has no idea what happened or who this victim is. A tattoo across the man’s neck leads investigators to discover he is Todd Burkes, an up-and-coming rapper in Atlanta. With no apparent witnesses to the crime, Detective Benton must pound the pavement to find anyone with information. After several dead ends, Detective Benton gets a break in the case when she searches Todd’s phone and determines calls were being made after he was pronounced dead.She enlists the help of the U.S. Marshals to find the person responsible for this senseless act.

Ten Dollar Homicide

While out for a late night walk with a friend, Scott Kakaris is shot in a Cincinnati neighborhood. Detective Luke must track down the Scott’s friend, who fled shortly after the shooting. In an emotional interview, the victim’s girlfriend tells Detective Luke that the missing friend is fearful the police will find out he has outstanding warrants and arrest him. As the only witness to the crime, Detective Luke is determined to find him and discover if his sudden disappearance is the missing piece of the puzzle.

Terry Porter has been shot execution style on the front lawn of his Atlanta home in what appears to be a carjacking gone awry. Then in Cincinnati, Detective Mitsch is dealing with a suspected drug deal that leftJeffrey G. Luttrell dead and Joseph Payneparalyzed from the neck down. The Fugitive Apprehension Unit is deployed to capture the suspect, but will the paralyzed victim in the hospital be able to identify his shooter?

Hall of Mirrors

Gary Gilbert is visiting from New York and is gunned down in front of his family members on a busy street in Cincinnati. After running the license plate, the car comes back as belonging to the victim’s nephew, who later gives DetectiveLuke a chilling account of what he saw. A suspect is brought in, pleads his innocence, and gives Detective Luke his side of the story. Armed with her instincts, the facts, and a lie detector test, she must uncover who’s telling the truth about what happened that night.

One Good Witness

Gary Dunlap is gunned down only four days after his release from prison, and all signs point Detective Benton to a notorious Atlanta-area gang. Following a blood trail, she soon discovers there is a second victim that fled the scene. With difficulty finding the second victim, Detective Benton turns to a phone tip that comes in from a surprising source. Then in Cincinnati, Detective Luke hunts for the killer of teenagerRaymond Jennings who was shot dead as a result of retaliatory violence. As Detective Luke struggles to find a viable witness, she grows concerned about the role "street justice" will play in her case.
