The basic BANTAM unit for 1,000,000 BTUs consist of heat exchangers with an 8 foot auger which has the coal/wood chip blender built into the In- feed Auger and an Ash removal auger .

The basic JERSEY GIANT unit for 2,500,000 BTUs consist of heat exchangers with an 8 foot auger which has the coal/wood chip blender built into the In- feed Auger and an Ash removal auger .

With 50% moisture chicken litter it requires a
blend of 30% coal. We experienced 4300 BTUs
per pound at 50% moisture on chicken litter and
10,000 BTUs per pound on the coal.
This equates to approximately 75 pounds of coal
and 415 pounds of chicken litter to develop
2,500, 000 BTUs.
With 25% moisture chicken litter it required a
blend of 15% coal. We experienced 6000 BTUs
per pound at 25% moisture on chicken litter and
10,000 BTUs per pound on the coal.
This equates to approximately 38 pounds of coal
and 365 pounds of chicken litter to develop
2,500, 000 BTUs.
Other fuel burning assist products can be used
in this process within some state guidelines,
rubber being one that is most abundant and
usually free.
