Job Title: Windham Area Hour Exchange Volunteer/Intern – Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 (unpaid)

JOBSUMMARY: In support of the AccessMission and Strategic Commitments, the Volunteer/Intern will provide assistance in the Windham Area Hour Exchange program.

Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours/week, flexible

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DUTIES:

Promote the WAHE program developing outreach strategies.

Distribution of promotional and marketing materials.

Attend outreach events and answer questions regarding the program.

Complete background checks for applicants and data entry.

Conduct orientation for WAHE.

Prepare all application materials for WAHE.

Prepare a monthly agenda and attend Kitchen Cabinet monthly meetings as the minute taker.

Promote on social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly required to:talk, hear and use hands to finger, handle, or feel

Frequently required to: stand and sit.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
